OYA Renewables has started development on a solar farm located near Independence, Allegany County, New York, and on land leased from a local landowner. Once this solar farm is active the landowner will receive payments for the next 25 years from the solar lease.
The local community benefits from saving on electricity, tax revenue, local jobs and the clean energy generated (6.8 MWDC) by the project and sent directly to the grid for distribution.
There are still spots available for this community solar program. Sign up today.
